Angle Orange developed a concept whereby a unique QR-coded tag would be attached to each type of football boot on the shelf in store. By scanning the QR code, shoppers would be directed to a webpage/application that would help to ascertain the suitability of that boot for their specific needs. Based on the results, the page would either offer enticing information to encourage a sale, or direct the shopper to a better-suited product, thereby enhancing the sale opportunity beyond the product in hand.
We believe that an execution of this kind would deliver strong results through innovative and creative mechanics that enhance the shopper experience. By tailoring information according to shopper requirements, sales can effectively be converted in store. We are currently investigating feasibility with various well-known brands.
